Requirements

Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
Be at least 21 years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to passengers, employees, vendors, and/or visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, transportation hub policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Monitor dispatch communications, alarms, cameras, and/or access activity; receive, document, prioritize, and relay routine and urgent information to appropriate personnel.
Coordinate the dispatch of security-related personnel and resources in response to incidents, service requests, alarms, and critical situations across terminal, operations, and perimeter areas.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site-specific procedures and escalation protocols.
Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and shift records; communicate relevant information during shift changes and to Allied Universal leadership.
