About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer Dispatch Operator in Athens, Georgia, you will serve and safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will coordinate communications, monitor access activity, and support timely responses to security-related incidents. The role uses computer or tablet systems to document information, assist visitors and employees, and help maintain an organized environment. The scheduled hours are Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Pay is $17.61 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations, and may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor communications, alarms, and dispatch systems to coordinate responses to incidents, service requests, and critical situations across an industrial location.
Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and communications with site personnel and/or emergency responders.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using problem-solving skills and escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, reporting observed conditions that may require attention.
