About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Lead in Maiden, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch professional supporting a dynamic tech location, where you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, and help address security-related concerns in real time. Requirements

  • Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a fast-paced technology location.
  • Receive, prioritize, and relay routine and urgent calls for service, alarms, and incident notifications to appropriate personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Monitor communication systems, cameras, and/or alarm activity, and help to coordinate timely security-related responses to incidents, maintenance issues, and critical situations.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident details, and shift activity records, and communicate updates clearly to site leadership, field personnel, and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter when assigned, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
