Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor phones, radios, alarms, and/or computer-based systems to receive calls for service, document activity, and relay information to appropriate personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Dispatch officers and/or other designated personnel to incidents, routine service requests, and critical situations across the location while maintaining clear and professional communication.
  • Support access control and other security-related operations by reviewing reported issues, coordinating responses, and documenting incidents according to site policies.
  • Conduct regular and random patrol coordination and status tracking around the location and perimeter, noting changing conditions and communicating updates to site leadership and/or emergency contacts as needed.
