About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Coordinator in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a technology-focused location.
• Monitor communication systems, receive calls and alarms, and dispatch appropriate personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner during incidents and critical situations.
• Maintain detailed activity logs, incident reports, and dispatch records to support accurate communication and coordinated response efforts.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and other site systems to help identify unusual activity and support timely notification to site contacts and/or responding personnel.
• Coordinate with on-site staff, visitors, and management regarding access activity, service needs, and other security-related concerns while following post orders and location protocols.
