Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Monitor dispatch communications, receive calls for service, prioritize incidents, and coordinate the timely assignment of officers and/or resources based on site needs.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and relaying accurate information to supervisors, emergency personnel, and/or site contacts.
  • Maintain logs, reports, and other dispatch records, track officer activity and location status, and communicate schedule changes, callouts, and post coverage updates.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as needed, while supporting command center and/or dispatch operations in varying working environments and conditions.
