In this role, you will help maintain awareness across the site through clear reporting and strong customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch protocols, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, calls for service, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating updates to site contacts and/or responding personnel.
  • Monitor communication systems, phones, radios, and/or electronic reporting tools to receive, prioritize, and relay routine and urgent information across the location.
  • Document incidents, dispatch activity, visitor or delivery information, and other security-related matters in accordance with site policies and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
