About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Control Center in Costa Mesa, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Type at least 40 words per minute.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Nice To Haves

The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor incoming calls, radio traffic, alarms, and other communications, documenting and dispatching information to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating communications with site personnel and emergency responders as directed.
Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, visitor information, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures.
Monitor activity across the location through available systems and communications, reporting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
