About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Center in Madison, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A college degree is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and callers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service, alarms, incidents, and critical situations to appropriate personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor communication systems, alarms, access activity, and available camera systems, documenting events and escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and related records while communicating timely updates to site leadership and responding personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, reporting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
