About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch / Driver in Corona, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Dispatch Security Professional supporting a government transportation location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, document incidents, and dispatch resources to help maintain an orderly environment. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to transportation agency personnel, visitors, and/or members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor communications systems, receive incoming calls and radio traffic, document requests for assistance, and dispatch appropriate personnel according to established procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate relevant information to supervisors, emergency responders, and/or designated agency contacts.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and shift records while promptly escalating unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned transportation facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations as directed; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
