About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Driver in Chandler, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Professional at an aerospace and defense location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, manage access-related information, and support timely responses to security-related incidents. Using strong customer service and computer skills, you will help maintain smooth operations in a dynamic environment. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Receive, prioritize, and document routine and emergency calls, dispatching appropriate security-related personnel and resources in accordance with site procedures.
  • Monitor communications systems, alarms, cameras, and access-control notifications, escalating unusual activity or incidents to designated personnel.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and shift communications while handling sensitive information in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and coordinate communications with on-site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
