As a Security Officer Control Center in Sioux Falls, SD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Dispatch professional in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will coordinate communications, monitor alarms and activity, dispatch resources, and support timely responses to security-related incidents. You will help maintain an organized environment through clear communication, customer-focused service, and attention to detail. Requirements

• Possess 1+ years of law enforcement experience OR 2+ years of security-related supervisor/manager experience OR 3+ years of security-related experience.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor incoming calls, alarms, communications systems, and service requests; document and dispatch security-related personnel or appropriate site resources based on established protocols.
• Respond to incidents, critical situations, and requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate relevant information to supervisors, emergency responders, and site contacts as needed.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, visitor or contractor information, and other required records in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter when assigned, reporting unusual conditions, access concerns, or maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
