Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
  • Monitor phones, radios, alarms, and other communication systems, documenting calls for service and dispatching personnel to routine and critical incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Coordinate security-related responses with site personnel, medical staff, and/or first responders, sharing timely information to help support emergency and non-emergency operations.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and dispatch records, helping supervisors and site leadership track events, follow-ups, and operational needs.
  • Observe camera systems and other monitoring tools, report unusual activity, and help to deter unauthorized access or disruptive behavior throughout the location.
