Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
  • Monitor front desk activity, greet visitors, assist with access control processes, and direct guests, vendors, and/or associates in a professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents, concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report relevant details according to site procedures.
  • Support visitor management tasks such as checking identification, maintaining logs, issuing badges where applicable, and communicating front desk activity to site contacts.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or disruptive behavior through attentive front desk presence and consistent application of post instructions.
