About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Dispatch Console Analyst in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Dispatch Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor communications, coordinate responses to security-related activity, and support site personnel with professionalism and care. Requirements

  • Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
  • Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be able to lift up to 20 pounds, which is preferred.
  • Possess CPR certification, which is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Monitor radio, telephone, alarm, and/or dispatch systems to receive calls for service, document activity, and relay information to assigned personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Coordinate incident response by prioritizing incoming requests, dispatching the appropriate personnel, and communicating updates to supervisors, first responders, and/or site contacts as needed.
  • Maintain accurate logs, reports, and shift records related to incidents, access activity, equipment status, and other security-related operations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrol support activities as directed, which may include monitoring cameras, tracking perimeter activity, and reporting unusual conditions around the business and surrounding location.
