About The Position

As a Security Officer Lobby Console in Leawood, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk officer in a commercial real estate location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, supporting access control, visitor management, and other security-related responsibilities while delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a front desk location within a commercial real estate setting.
  • Greet tenants, visitors, and/or vendors, assist with check-in activities, verify access permissions, and communicate visitor procedures in a professional manner.
  • Monitor lobby and front desk activity, respond to questions and incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual or suspicious activity through proper channels.
  • Support access control functions by helping to manage visitor logs, badges, deliveries, and/or incoming calls while maintaining awareness of site protocols.
  • Coordinate with property management, tenants, and/or emergency responders as needed to help address security-related concerns, alarms, or urgent situations at the location.
