About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Communications in Eden Prairie, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in a healthcare location, you will coordinate responses to security-related calls, monitor alarms and access activity, and communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and responding personnel. Requirements

  • Have at least two years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to healthcare location personnel, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor dispatch communications, receive and prioritize service requests, and coordinate the response of security-related personnel to incidents and routine calls.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident details, communications records, and status updates in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare location and perimeter as assigned, reporting observed hazards, access concerns, and unusual activity.
