Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor dispatch communications, alarms, cameras, radios, and/or incoming calls, and relay information to site personnel and responders in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations by documenting details, prioritizing calls for assistance, and helping to coordinate security-related response activity.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and daily activity records, including tracking officer assignments, shift activity, and key communications.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as needed, while observing conditions and reporting unusual activity, equipment issues, and/or access concerns.
