About The Position

As a Security Officer Digital Access Monitoring in Kansas City, Kansas, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. You will help maintain a secure, welcoming environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and responding to security-related concerns. You will use computer or tablet systems to document activity, communicate with visitors and team members, and help deter incidents through a professional presence. The position is full-time and pays $18.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Tuesday and Wednesday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM, and Saturday and Sunday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and conducting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and manage visitor access.
• Use computer or tablet systems to document activity and communicate with visitors and team members.
• Help deter incidents through a professional presence.
