About The Position

As a Security Officer - Desk Concierge in Scottsdale, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for tenants, visitors, and staff while helping to monitor access and support security-related operations. This role combines customer service, communication, and professionalism in a people-first environment where Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and innovative team works with integrity every day.

Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Staff the front desk and manage access activity by greeting incoming guests, verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing individuals according to property protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to property management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Monitor lobby and entrance activity, observe for unusual behavior and/or policy violations, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent front desk presence and reporting.
  • Support day-to-day building operations by answering questions, handling phone and/or radio communications, documenting incidents, and completing assigned reports in accordance with Allied Universal standards.
