About The Position

As a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol in Lawton, Michigan, you will serve and safeguard clients at a food and beverage production location. In this unarmed patrol role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel. You will provide customer service and clear communication while following site-specific policies and established procedures.

This is a part-time position scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The pay rate is $16.50 per hour. The role may involve monitoring facility, production, warehouse, parking, and perimeter areas, responding to incidents and alarms, documenting observations, and following reporting and escalation procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license only if the position involves driving.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor and contractor entry, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements; report irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Help protect personnel, products, equipment, and property by following established reporting, communication, and escalation procedures.
