Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government park location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at government park locations.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of park grounds, facilities, parking areas, and perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and contact law enforcement and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and unusual conditions using accurate written and electronic incident reports.
  • Support access control, public-area monitoring, and compliance with facility and park regulations while maintaining a professional presence.
