As a Security Officer Customer Care Patrol in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming experience through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail areas, common spaces, entrances, exits, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support loss prevention and property protection efforts by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with de-escalation, and following post orders for retail and mall environments.
