About The Position

As a Security Officer Custody Officer - Driver Degree Qualified in Fullerton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Security Professional supporting a government facility, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position includes providing exceptional customer service, communicating professionally with visitors and personnel, and responding to situations with integrity. Requirements

  • Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Possess a college degree.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Handcuffing certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, personnel, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government law enforcement location.
  • Respond to incidents, calls for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and communication protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed, and maintain awareness of visitor and vehicle activity.
  • Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and promptly communicate unusual conditions, policy violations, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
