As a Security Officer Custody Officer in Fullerton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a government law enforcement location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Possess 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Possess a college degree.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a government law-enforcement location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating relevant information to appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, building exteriors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas; verify authorized access; and document visitor activity, incidents, and daily observations in accordance with site procedures.
  • Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by providing directions, reporting suspicious activity, and supporting security-related operations as assigned.
