About The Position

As a Security Officer Credentialing in McAllen, Texas, you will safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location by managing entry points, verifying credentials, monitoring access activity, and maintaining a professional, welcoming presence. You will communicate with employees and visitors, support security procedures, and help deter incidents through attentive observation. The role is part-time and pays $11.66 per hour. The schedule is Wednesday and Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any state or local licensing requirements that apply; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific access-control procedures and security policies.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor sign-in processes, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
Respond calmly to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in accordance with established emergency response procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to identify unauthorized activity or facility concerns.
Communicate observations, incidents, and access-control issues to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Complete required reports and documentation.
