About The Position

As a Security Officer Credential Management in Bloomfield, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries including financial institutions. At a financial institution location, you will help maintain a welcoming, professional environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing badge access, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. The position is full-time, scheduled Monday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a pay rate of $19.85 per hour.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification.
Customer service experience.

A Guard Card or license.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization credentials, manage visitor registration, and maintain accurate access-related records according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as directed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.
Help maintain an orderly, professional environment at a financial services location and communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.
