As a Security Officer Credential Desk in North Little Rock, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location where you will help manage access control, monitor entry activity, and support security-related protocols with professionalism and care. Requirements

At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Corrections experience is not accepted
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Monitor entrances and exits, verify credentials, process visitor and/or vendor check-in, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site procedures.
Observe shipping, receiving, and dock activity for unusual or unauthorized behavior, and document deliveries, departures, and/or access-related events as required.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to gates, loading areas, parking areas, and other access points throughout the location.
