As a Security Officer Credential Control Driver in Texas City, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and support security-related operations with strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A TSA issued TWIC is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response guidelines at an industrial location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, issue visitor passes, and document arrivals, departures, deliveries, and/or contractor access in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify unauthorized access, security-related concerns, and operational irregularities.
  • Support access control operations for vehicles, materials, and restricted areas by following post orders, maintaining accurate logs, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors.
