Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or employees by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, logging entry and exit activity, and supporting security-related protocols at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, gates, and/or receiving areas to help control authorized entry, manage deliveries and pickups, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, applying site procedures and contacting supervision, emergency services, and/or designated personnel when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, trailer yards, loading and unloading areas, and perimeter, noting hazards, maintenance issues, and/or suspicious activity for documentation and follow-up.
• Prepare clear, timely reports related to access activity, incidents, and daily operations, and assist with emergency response activities in accordance with post orders and client-facing expectations.
