About The Position

As a Security Officer Credential Control in Lumberton, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures at a healthcare location, including monitoring entry points, verifying identification, and documenting visitor, patient, and vendor access activity.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership when needed.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access by controlling access to restricted areas, following badge and credential procedures, and supporting security-related protocols for staff, visitors, and contractors.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around designated areas and the perimeter, observing conditions, reporting concerns, and assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
