About The Position

As a Security Officer Screening Driver Coordinator in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access points, conduct screening activities, and complete routine patrols as needed to help support a secure environment. This is a driving post. You will stay visible, provide outstanding customer service and communication, and bring our agile, reliable, innovative, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values to every shift.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and personnel by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or personal belongings entering or leaving the location in accordance with site policies and screening requirements.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or shipping documentation, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or suspicious items to site contacts.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting screening-related findings and daily activity.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, with attention to dock areas, shipping and receiving zones, and other high-traffic operational spaces.
