About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Coordinator in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, storefront areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized access, support loss prevention efforts, and report suspicious behavior or policy concerns.
  • Support closing and opening procedures as assigned, including observing the location for security-related issues, assisting with access control, and reporting maintenance or hazard concerns to site management.
