In this role, you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, document incidents, and help response teams address security-related concerns with professionalism and care. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Receive and prioritize calls, radio traffic, and service requests, then communicate routine and urgent information to site personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, communication systems, and other security-related technology to help identify unusual activity and support timely response at the location.
  • Maintain detailed incident reports, dispatch logs, and activity records, documenting key information and routing updates to the appropriate contacts and/or supervisors.
  • Support regular and random patrol coordination around the property and perimeter, helping officers and site contacts respond to incidents, access concerns, and other security-related matters.
