About The Position

As a Security Officer Computer Assisted Patrol in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support tenants and visitors with strong customer service and communication while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A state, county, and/or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and/or requesting assistance as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial property, including common areas, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter, helping to identify unusual activity and/or maintenance-related concerns.
Monitor access to the location by observing entrances and exits, verifying authorized access when required, and documenting security-related events, incidents, and/or daily activities.
Support property operations by communicating professionally with tenants and visitors, following post orders, and reporting hazards, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
