As a Security Officer Patrol Agent in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage incidents, monitor access points, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking lots, trailer yards, entry points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor the movement of visitors, drivers, and/or vendors entering and leaving the location, following post orders and documenting security-related incidents, observations, and/or daily activities.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by observing assigned areas, noting operational disruptions and/or hazards, and communicating concerns in accordance with site procedures.
