About The Position

As a Security Officer Command Center Operations in Stamford, Connecticut, you will serve and safeguard clients in commercial real estate and other industries. In this unarmed security role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide customer service and clear communication to tenants and visitors. The position is full-time and pays $20.48 per hour. The listed schedule is 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements required by applicable state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients while carrying out security-related procedures, property-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions, and help deter unauthorized entry or property damage.
Document incidents, patrol observations, and maintenance or property-related concerns according to site procedures.
