As a Security Officer College Campus Patrol Driver in Lancaster, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or public authorities when needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout buildings, grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points and verify permitted entry in accordance with location protocols, assisting with visitor direction, general inquiries, and/or reporting of suspicious behavior.
• Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, completing assigned reports, and communicating clearly with Allied Universal leadership and/or site representatives regarding security-related concerns.
