In this stationary role, you will support access control, monitor lobby activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, monitoring access points, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Greet employees, visitors, and vendors at the front desk, verify credentials, and manage visitor check-in and/or badging processes in accordance with location protocols.
  • Answer questions, provide directions, and support a professional lobby experience while helping to address security-related concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations by documenting details, notifying appropriate contacts, and following site-specific escalation procedures.
  • Monitor lobby and entry activity, maintain required logs and reports, and communicate with Allied Universal leadership and/or client contacts regarding security-related matters.
