Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will help manage site entry, verify badges and credentials, monitor assigned areas, and support a professional, welcoming experience. Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge and credential checks, and other security-related policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor pedestrian and vehicle entry points, verify authorization for entry, and help to deter unauthorized access, prohibited items, and suspicious activity in accordance with location protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, emergency personnel, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Document visitor activity, deliveries, and access-related incidents through logs, reports, and other required records while following post orders and regulatory guidelines for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including access points, parking areas, and restricted zones, as directed by site procedures and operational needs.
