As a Security Officer Building Office Concierge in Costa Mesa, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Our Front Desk Officers at a premier commercial real estate location help create a welcoming presence while monitoring access, assisting visitors, and handling security-related communications. Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access to the office location by greeting guests, verifying identification and/or visitor information, issuing access credentials, and documenting arrivals and departures.
  • Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with building management and/or emergency contacts as needed.
  • Answer phones, support lobby and reception operations, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and other front desk records related to security-related activities.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity through attentive observation of the lobby, entry points, and other assigned front desk areas.
