Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic educational location. You will conduct routine bicycle and foot patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, residence areas, walkways, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in required reports and communicate relevant information to campus representatives and Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and monitoring of assigned areas in a professional manner.
