As a Airport Security Officer - Park Team in Honolulu, HI, you will safeguard the airport, staff, and it's facilities. Along with driving, patrolling, checking, and securing doors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication to all visitors and staff. Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
  • 1+ years of security experience
  • 21+ years of age
  • Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
  • Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a government transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public agency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entry and restricted areas, observe pedestrian and vehicle traffic, and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations according to site protocols.
  • Assist with access control, directional support, and incident documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a high-traffic airport environment.
