As a Security Officer Badge Verification in Lexington, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will help manage access control, monitor entry activity, and support a professional, welcoming environment. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Must have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within the manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related events and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter, observing for unusual activity and reporting conditions that may require attention.
  • Support site operations by maintaining logs, processing visitors and deliveries, and following Allied Universal and location-specific protocols for access control and security-related procedures.
