Requirements

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access requirements, and emergency response protocols at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and help to control access to restricted areas within the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Document visitor, contractor, and/or delivery activity, maintain accurate access records, and communicate relevant updates with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including key access control points, gates, and/or receiving areas as required by the location.
