Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, credential verification steps, and security-related policies for a chemical and petrochemical location.
Monitor entry and exit points, screen visitors and deliveries, and document access activity to help to deter unauthorized entry and support site operations.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, emergency services, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, gates, and perimeter locations, noting unusual conditions and reporting security-related concerns according to post procedures.
Support emergency response activities by directing foot and vehicle traffic, maintaining awareness of restricted areas, and completing required reports with accuracy and attention to detail.
