As a Security Officer Driver Badge Clerk in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic technology location as an Access Control professional in a driving post. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, support badge access activities, and perform routine patrols to help maintain a secure environment. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a dynamic technology-focused location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, manage visitor check-in processes, and document arrivals, departures, and other security-related activity.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper communication channels when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, access issues, and/or policy concerns in varied working environments and conditions.
  • Support site operations by communicating clearly with staff and guests, helping to uphold authorized access procedures, and reporting maintenance, security-related, and/or operational concerns.
