Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform vehicle-based and on-foot patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. Requirements

• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities within an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting notable activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to support established screening and property control procedures for the location.
• Support emergency situations by following post orders, contacting first responders when needed, and assisting with evacuations, medical calls, and/or restricted area control.
