As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol in Fishersville, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site leadership and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access points and sensitive areas, assisting with visitor screening, restricted area access, and other security-related duties that support daily operations in a healthcare environment.
• Carry authorized armed equipment in accordance with post orders, Allied Universal guidelines, and applicable laws, while maintaining professional conduct and readiness during routine duties and/or emergency situations.
