About The Position

The Armed Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Armed Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers and serve as a physical deterrent. Requirements

21 years of age or older
High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months
Above average computer / technology skills needed
Impeccable customer service and team leadership skills needed
Must be able to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift
Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation
All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation
2 years of armed experience
Must pass pre-hire testing assignment and shooting qualification
Must have a reliable personal vehicle
Must have the legal right to work in the United States
Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English
Must be able to provide the office with a reliable phone number where the officer can be reached at all times (i.e. cellular)
Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic
Must have a strong grasp of appropriate and professional verbal/written communication
Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner
Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing and permit requirements for Security Officers
Seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly (with or without reasonable accommodation)
Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling (with or without reasonable accommodation)
Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain (with or without reasonable accommodation)
Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds (with or without reasonable accommodation)
